Requirements for Submissions

Information for Contributors

General Requirements

The journal requires manuscripts to be submitted in English, although the journal will also post articles which have been accepted for publication in any other language requested by the author provided the author furnishes a suitable translation. Authors must submit their material in electronic format on a 3.5" IBM compatible disk. The journal can accept publications in the following formats:

WordPerfect
Microsoft Word
AmiPro/WordPro

The editorial staff will also consider accepting other formats if they do not present serious technical problems. We have limited capacity to translate from some other word processing formats. Authors planning submissions in formats other than those listed should contact the editorial staff to discuss their circumstances.

Graphic images, photographs, scientific graphs, or other special items should be submitted in appropriate formats such as JPEG, GIF, WPG, or compatible formats. Authors are responsible for scanning such material if that is required. Authors submitting graphic materials should consult with editorial staff. Since the journal is in electronic format certain innovative capabilities are possible for the journal, such as sound, animation, or direct provision of data files to readers. Any author contemplating using any of these features needs to contact the editors.

Since all article are sent out for blind review authors should take care to remove any obvious personal identifiers from their manuscripts.

The journal requires citations be in APA style. A style sheet and text sample is available.

Authors bear sole responsibility for exercising their copyright prerogatives. If the author reserves a formal; copyright they must provide appropriate permissions and assurances for the journal to publish and disseminates their material.

Manuscripts will be reviewed blindly by three suitable referees. Every effort will be made to notify authors within six weeks of the decision of the journal regarding publication.
