Our mission is to provide an intellectually challenging and supportive environment for educating students and advancing criminological research that expands the knowledge of the discipline and links science and theory to matters of effective and responsible public policy.
Our vision is to become one of the top three criminology programs in the country; to set the standard for education and scholarship in the study of crime and criminal justice; and to create and disseminate knowledge that will be the foundation for an effective and responsible response to crime.
We are dedicated to being a collaborative intellectual community where life altering learning and research is done.
