Helpful Hints
Resume
- In the "Criminology Courses Completed" section, include all criminology courses you will have completed by the time you begin your internship. Use course titles as well as numbers (i.e., "Criminology- CCJ 3011 ").
- In the "Work Experience" section, include your three most recent jobs.
- In the "Reference" section, you may list individuals such as former employers, professors, high school teachers, lawyers or family friends.
Cover Letter
On a separate sheet of paper, type a cover letter to accompany your resume. This cover letter should indicate why you have chosen the agency plus what special knowledge, skill, or training you will be bringing to the agency. The cover letter is important in the placement decision. Give this letter the time and attention it deserves.
Student Agreement
You must sign this form before your internship can begin. If you have any questions, please ask!
