  • CERJ:  The distribution list (does not support discussions) of the Campaign for Equity-Restorative Justice (CERJ). Bulletins, news articles, announcements, etc., pertaining to the need for justice reform and the excellent Equity-Restorative Justice (ERJ) methods that may usually be used to replace those methods that do not work (such as punishment in general; imprisonment and execution in particular).   Circulation is 500+.  This is a manually-maintained list: to subscribe, send an email post to <info@cerj.org> giving your name and your state/province/country of residence.
  • CJHTML-L: 'The List of Criminal Justice Webmasters'.   • CRIMNET:  An Australian-based professional and academic resource, mostly for announcements and networking.  Does not usually support discussions.  Some examples of posting categories: research

  • DRC-NATL:  The email distribution list of the Drug Reform Coordination Network's rapid-response-team -- 8000+ subscribers as of Dec.   • GRP-FACL:  "Mailing list for Group Facilitation -- Process expertise for group effectiveness".  This moderated forum focuses chiefly on the practical "process" aspects of facilitation, although theoretical issues are not excluded.   Participants share ideas and advice on situations, methods, and resources and pass on illustrations of exercises, models, metaphors, and war stories.  The focus is on group facilitation rather than training issues.  Recommendations of products and services of interest to facilitators may be made by those without a vested interest.   No cross-posting!  Large list -- 854 subscribers in 30 countries (as of 1/1/99).  To subscribe, send email to <LISTSERV@CNSIBM.ALBANY.EDU> with the following message: "subscribe GRP-FACL".
  • GUBBIO-L:  An activism-oriented list maintained by the Franciscans (Order of St. Francis of Assisi), a service-oriented religious group that has a traditional concern with social justice issues.  The infrequent discussions mainly pertain to the list subscribers' chosen avenues of Christian service.  They sometimes welcome more general announcements of interest to their members.   • PRIVATE PRISON WATCH:  A periodic compendium of articles on the problems of prisons that have been privatized and are run by corporations for profit, and analyses of this practice as a trend in western society.  Though it has an international focus, the list also seeks to provide local communities with access to global information as a primary activist tool.  By special permission, the list 'windows' (links to and reproduces) the Prison Privatisation Report International, which is published ten times a year by the Prison Reform Trust (PRT), a UK charity.  This source publication is normally sold by subscription, so some unusual copyright restrictions may apply to the use of this list's posts.  For new subscriptions, or if you have information to share, contact <ppwatch@hotmail.com>.

  • UNIVPD-L is a mailing list for sworn law enforcement officers. The purpose of this list is to provide a forum for law enforcement officers to discuss issues of campus safety, crime prevention and law enforcement as they relate to the campus environment.
  • UNOJUST-L: A low-traffic members-only list for individuals affiliated with the member organizations of the United Nations-related UNOJUST Program Network Institutes (PNIs).  The limited purpose of this very small list is to coordinate information sharing and technical standards development.  A list of the PNIs and access to their websites can be found at <http://www.unojust.org> under the "Members" section.
